MATTERHORN LODGE GUEST INFORMATION

Front Office will be open from 8 - 9:30am & 3:30-5pm. Outside of these hours, please call Matterhorn Lodge on 02 6457 5842.
We kindly ask that you vacate your room at 9:00am on your day of departure. If you are spending time on the snowfields that day, we are more than happy to store your luggage for your convenience and you can make arrangements with Hans Oversnow for a transfer later in the day.
Upon your arrival and departure, Hans Oversnow offer complimentary transfers to and from the Skitube terminal between 7am- midnight. Additional fees may apply outside of these hours. They also provide transport at your own expense around Perisher, should you require it, and can be contacted on 02 6457 5334 during hours or 0418 485 144 before and after hours. Complimentary WIFI is available to guests. Login details are provided when you check in.
Front Entrance Keycode (after hours)
The main door to the lodge is locked in the evening. The access code is provided when you check in.
Breakfast is available between 7:30-8:30am daily, Barista coffee is also available for purchase in the mornings. Dinner will be served in the restaurant promptly at 6:00pm every evening unless notified otherwise (we often change the dinner time to cater for Night skiing). The Dining Room is not open for lunch. There are lunches available at numerous outlets across the valley with the closest restaurants being next door at The White Spider/Eiger Chalet, or a little further down at The Man From Snowy River Hotel.
The Matterhorn Lodge Bar is open daily from 4pm-close. Après ski is French for ‘after ski’ and we invite you to join us for a Gluhwein, local schnapps or a cold beer on tap… perfect after a day on the slopes! Under our current License, BYO is not permitted anywhere downstairs at any time. Credit card tabs must be settled the same evening.
Our guest lounge in located in the Bar and is equipped with pool tables, table tennis, games and large TV screens. We also have board games available for complimentary hire from the bar however, if anything is lost or damaged, a fee will apply.
We want your stay at the Matterhorn to be memorable and special. Please let us know if you have any birthdays, anniversaries or any other special occasions that you are celebrating during your stay. We will go out of our way to ensure your celebration is unforgettable. Birthday cakes, birthday cocktails, children’s birthday surprises, sparklers and candles are all available on request.
Skis, Snowboards & Boots
We kindly request that you do not take your ski/board equipment to your room. There is a ski equipment and boot room located at the entry to the lodge with the same access code as the front door. This room is heated to allow for your boots to dry overnight, so please keep door closed. We also have ski/board cable locks for purchase at reception. All equipment is stored at your own risk.
We are a non- smoking establishment. Please do not smoke anywhere inside the Lodge. You can smoke in designated areas but ensure your butts go into the bins provided. There is a fine of $300 if you litter in the National Park.
The guest laundry is located on the first floor near reception and is open daily until 9pm. There is a washing machine that is $3 per load (3 x $1 coins) and washing powder can be purchased for $1 per packet from reception during opening hours. The dryer is complimentary.
In-room heaters can be adjusted by turning the white knob located on the side of the heater, Clockwise (to the right) is OFF and anti-clockwise (to the left) is ON. It is operated on a timer system so it is often off during the day if the Lodge is unattended, depending on weather conditions.
Your room will be refreshed daily. This refresh service includes rubbish removal and replenishment of toilet paper. We kindly ask you to be conscious of our environment with your water and electricity usage by placing your towels on the towel racks to dry each day and switching of lights when not in use.
