About your Booking at Matterhorn Lodge Perisher – Season 2021
Thank you all for your patience as we keep working through the unfolding hurdles for Season 2021. The situation is changing quite quickly.
IF YOU ARE THE SUBJECT OF A GOVERNMENT IMPOSED TRAVEL BAN, OR ORDER TO GET TESTED AND ISOLATE YOU SHOULD COMPLY WITH THAT ORDER. The current orders can be found at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19
If you are not subject to a travel ban or order you will NOT be prevented from checking in at the lodge, however IF YOU HAVE ANY COLD OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS BEFORE ARRIVING, WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT TRAVEL, ARRIVE OR CHECK-IN.
We are requesting that all those intending to travel and check-in CONSIDER being tested for Covid-19 before travelling or in transit, though we cannot compel you to do so. The sites where you can do this can be found at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-others/clinics
At check-in you will be asked to provide a statement that you, your guests, and families …
have not returned from overseas, or had, or been in contact with anyone having, Covid-19 within the previous 14 days.
Are not subject to any isolation or travel restriction directive form any federal or state government authority.
have reviewed the list provided of current Covid-19 case locations/exposure sites and have not visited one of those locations within the last 14 days and have not been directed to get tested for Covid-19 or self-isolate at any time. The list of exposure sites can be found at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates and will be made available for you to see at check-in.
understand that the Matterhorn Lodge cannot guarantee you will not become infected with Covid-19 and that your stay could increase your risk of contracting the virus.
release Matterhorn Lodge, from any claims of any kind relating to the spread or infection of Covid-19 whether the COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after your stay including those based on acts, omissions, or negligence.
Please check the boxes on this statement and sign on behalf of all the members of your family or group. This will be a condition of your booking proceeding.

Matterhorn Lodge has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We have adopted NSW Government regulations and guidelines for Accommodation, Hotels and Restaurant Sectors.
Whilst Matterhorn Lodge is not currently posing strict limitations or restrictions on guest movements, it may become necessary to do so. These restrictions may include, but not be limited to:
Restricting guest numbers in certain areas of the Lodge.
Altering meal service times / sittings or requesting that some guests take meals in their rooms.
Requiring the wearing of masks or face coverings in certain areas of the lodge.
IF YOU DEVELOP ANY COLD OR FLU SYMPTOMS WHILST YOU ARE HERE, WE WILL ASK YOU TO ISOLATE YOUR SELF AND FAMILIES FOR THE REMAINDER OF YOUR STAY, SUBMIT FOR TESTING AT THE NEAREST FACILITY, WEAR A MASK OR OTHER PROTECTION AND, IN SOME CASES, TO LEAVE THE LODGE FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR STAFF AND OTHER GUESTS.
If you are required to isolate yourself and families within the Lodge, we will do everything we can to assist you to do so comfortably until you can be tested and safely leave the premises. Matterhorn Lodge will be legally required to make a report to NSW Health and NSW Workcover that you or your family or guests are exhibiting cold or ﬂu like systems. We will always remain aware and respectful of your right to privacy.

It seems like 2021 will also require Covid-Safe operating plans and we will be reviewing our 2020 operations along with the requirements for next year and updating this page as we go.
