Thank you all for your patience as we have worked through the various hurdles for Season 2020. There are several hurdles that we will all be leaping together, and it will require a greater level of cooperation and understanding than ever before.
Your stay at Perisher and at the Matterhorn Lodge will be very different to the last few years. We will be operating at a reduced capacity of around 50 guests and social distancing provisions will apply during your visit. Our refund policies have been adjusted to ensure that people who cannot arrange all the products and services they require to properly enjoy their holiday, or who are not satisfied that their families and guests are as safe as they would like, are not disadvantaged.
You will need to visit and monitor communications from Perisher here to understand changes to resort operations and ticketing. We will do our best to help with this if you contact us but often have only the same information as you do. YOU WILL HAVE AT LEAST UNTIL THE 30TH JUNE TO MOVE OR CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITHOUT PENALTY.
Matterhorn Lodge has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We have adopted NSW Government regulations and guidelines for Accommodation, Hotels and Restaurant Sectors.

We will have provisions in place for rubbish removal if you require it. We will need you to let us know if you require any materials or assistance to undertake any mid-stay cleaning tasks.
All PUBLIC AREAS will be subject to restricted numbers and will be cleaned regularly to a high standard. Whilst the public area toilets will remain open for use during your stay, we will encourage guests to return to their rooms whenever possible to reduce the traffic in these high use areas. Sanitizers will be available in all the high traffic areas and we will be encouraging regular use of it by all guests.
We will need your assistance to monitor numbers and social distancing in the SKI/BOARD AND BOOT ROOM. We will be flexible with people using other areas to put on boots on the ground floor. We will ask you not to wear your ski boots on the stairs for safety reasons.
To meet reduced capacity restrictions in the DINING ROOM, we will be operating a bit differently to commence the season.
